If you like arcane commands, I know of a computer manufacture that makes a computer that uses "control-alt-delete" to access the "Start" menu in order to stop the computer. Years ago I left this companies products behind for Apple products because of their ease of use.

In reality this is not true, maybe for less than 1% of users that have access to high-bandwidths and that have not issues with the install or that have a newer model of computer, or that have Snow Leopard installed.
I believe that many users could go to a retail store but the CD, if it were available, go out for a nice dinner, come back install Lion, and it would be faster than waiting for their Lion update to be downloaded.
