That'd be a good fix for 10.7.1 Scrolling direction needs to be switchable in both the mouse and pad menus. It's quite likely users will want their mouse scrolling to work one way and their pad a different way.

Also, the Reading List feature tips are also available in Safari 5.1 for 10.6 users.
Probably the most handy Safari tips I've learned recently are Command key tricks: use the Command-L shortcut to hop to the address bar, then start typing your URL. Instead of hitting Return, hit Command-Return to open the URL in a new tab. This also works in the search field.
When using the contextual menu after highlighting text to "search with Google", add the Command key here again to open the search in a new tab.

In the "Mouse" preference pane of "System Preferences," there should be a checkbox at the top: "Move content in the direction of finger movement when scrolling or navigating."
Uncheck this, and your scrolling should be back to normal.

TDF spoilers are not appreciated! I'm skipping sports news until I can watch the stage tonight, I thought MacWorld would be safe...

Not necessary - you can turn it off in the mouse preferences as schwa73 points out.

Thanks for the help. Actually, it turned out that having Microsoft's Intellipoint mouse driver installed kept that preference option from appearing. I found a workaround. Connecting to a Bluetooth mouse made it appear.

Like everyone, I search a lot using Google. Why click in the Google search field when you can go there by simply pressing Command-Option-F?
Another option, in Safari, is to use the Command-L shortcut to enter a URL, then press tab. I find this easier than the awkward Command-Option-F shortcut.
