I want to change the font color in the Junk Mail inbox from the light tan it comes with to something I can actually see. Any ideas? thanks,

Go into the junk mail filtering page of Mail's preferences and see what you can do with "Perform custom actions"

I wouldn't say the search function is better. It may be faster, but the options are inadequate. You can no longer search on senders or recipients that contain a string. And the search combinations are less comprehensive and not so easy to compile.

How can you say the search in Lion's Mail.app has improved? It is an unmitigated disaster! I had to boot up from my Snow Leopard clone that I made from my system just before I upgraded to Lion just to find a message that I knew I had received back in November. Searching for it in Lion Mail: Impossible. Searching for it in Snow Leopard Mail: Found it instantly! All I knew was one word that I knew for sure that would be in the body of the message (the name of a city) and Bingo!.
With Lion search it is hard to control what you are searching by (From, To, Subject, Entire Message) and it is hard to interpret the results!

I just updated my system yesterday and now I am using the Lion/Mail. It is happening in a few times (to to every message) that the little blue circle (showing unread message) does not disappear after I open the message...

I don't like that my address book won't stay open if I want to search it for people to send email to. As soon as I click on a name and press enter, the address book disappears, and then I have to open up my address book again. Is there a way around this?

It appears they removed one of my favours... Bounce mail

I was hoping to upgrade, but this is yet another reason for me not to do so until I don't have an option.
Bah, I loved the bounce, perfect for ocassional unsolicited spammy email, thanks it useful to know
