Any word on if iCal Server in Lion Server has been upgraded so that mere mortal w/o 10 years of IT training can set it up?

PRO: "Birthdays now show up with ages"

That's a GOOD thing? My age is a closely held state secret! Please don't remind me!!!!!! ;)

Sounds like some decent, if minor, upgrades. Too bad it's so hideously, monstrously, inconceivably ugly! The faux leather is an abomination.

You missed a biggie with Birthday Calendars. You can now assign alerts and reminders to them. You couldn't do it before.

Birthdays always showed with ages, didn't they? The good things is that now, if you don't give an age, it puts the current yearm, making my girlfriend show up as 3 years old...

... is what that should've read. Proofreading rules.

Anybody know if there's a way to put a default reminder to the birthday calendar?

Maybe there's a third party opportunity for a standard UI calendar app. I wonder how many would pay money for it though.

Exchange calendar syncing works with my iPad. It does not work with Lion.

Before Lion came out I linked cards on my iPhone 4 address book and then synced it with address book on my iMac. This caused the listed birthdays to go screwy. It seems that it only showed the primary contacts birthday, but put it in the secondaries date. I asked Apple about this and they were unaware. Did anyone else experience this problem?

FINALLY, a "Year" button at the top. I have had to avoid iCal strictly because it was a pain to navigate two or three years ahead and back for scheduling and references.

I should clarify that the birthday list in calendar on both iMac and iPhone 4 went screwy. The birthday list is generated from the birthdays listed in Address Book.
