"Inertia scrolling...(this doesn’t happen if you have a mouse)"

FYI, this also works with the Magic Mouse.

Good point. I only have an Apple nipple mouse, and it had no effect with that type of scrolling.

Regarding Dashboard: thanks for the tip on avoiding the drab grey rubber mat appearance. Pity we can't change the sad looking log-in window texture too; or can we?. Even more annoying is that apparently, the trackpad right click, i.e. two finger tap which previously acted as control click, now takes us to Dashboard, rather than to contextual menu. Have I missed something, or can we get back to that?

It also seems inconsistent that Launchpad, (realizing it is accessible via hot corner or gesture), does not have a function button as do Mission Control and Dashboard; or is that, "why give these function buttons anyway?

Surely the BEST way to make Lion behave like Snow Leopard is...
Not upgrade!?

One that I would love to have back is the coloured icons in the finder sidebar. I'm quite nearsighted, and the colours were much more helpful than the small, rather uniform, shapes.

I'd also like to change the order in Finder windows back to the way it was in Snow Leopard, restore the color to finder, and make the traffic lights bigger as they were in SL !!

I just bought a Lexus. Taking it to the shop tomorrow so they can make it look like a Ford Focus.
Okay, that skews the interpretation of what one might think I see in Lion.
Not impressed.
But you get my point.

Re: Assigning applications to specific desktops:
[snip]... In the future, when you launch the application, it will be pinned to that desktop.

Does this this apply even after a restart? Will all desktops be re-created automatically so the app that was on desktop 5 will still be on desktop 5 after a restart?

Let me ask you this, how do you add Airdrop back to your sidebar after removing it? I accidentally removed and want it back now! :-)

I have found that if your Mac doesn't support AirDrop, as in the case of my 2008 MacPro, the AirDrop icon does not appear in the sidebar.
