Or, get the game for $7.00 off Steam (this was a sale price), get the Windows 8 beta and play it.

...if you wanted this game for another platform, invest in another platform. I'm not going to install Winblows on my beloved Mac to play and support the Winblows gaming juggernaut and be a sellout. This game's timing for Mac release is not Feral's doing. They're a damn good developer and publishing house and don't wrap everything in Cider... they make true Mac ports. Want to support Mac gaming and play a well-reviewed game? Don't be swayed by sophomoric posts...

BUY the game [for MAC]!
Mac OS X 10.7.x/Quad-Core Xeon 3520 2.66GHz
4GB RAM/640GB HDD/2 SuperDrives/ATI Radeon HD 5870
Cambridge Soundworks DTT3500 5.1 via TOSLINK

When will game developers get a clue and develop using OpenGL then they can release versions for all platforms at very similar times and cream the money in one hit. :-)

That's an easy one. Because it makes way too much sense and developers don't want to make sense!! Look at Star Wars The Old Repiblic.

What ticks me off is that the system requirements (available on Steam) say the don't support the Nvidia 9400 graphics in my 2yr old Mac mini! Yet the Windows version runs fine on my Bootcamp partition. C'mon developers! Don't assume all Mac owners are rich and can afford a 27" iMac.
