Of course, Motion gets updated *after* I slogged my way through a project that left a head-sized dent in my wall. Better late than never, I suppose.

Funnily enough my 5.0 Motion / App Store within SL 10.68 DOESN"T even recognise the update and says 5.0's up to date within App Store's updates.
