I think the name "Zune" and the loser company that produced it are the real reason's behind its demise.

I wonder if Microsoft will release a Windows Phone 7 without the phone ala the iPod Touch? I wonder what they will call it if they do release it? "Enuz"? -- Enuz, get your hot Enuz here...

Correction: Apple Killed the Zune, about a month after it was released and the reviews started rolling in. ;)

I'd really like to see footage again of that funeral procession Microsoft held for the iPhone just over a year ago. It'd be hilarious.

So, do I need to rush out and buy a Zune HD to warehouse against the day I break my current one? Close decision, but I think the answer is no, in part because I'm likely to move to Windows Phone from iPhone sometime.
