The best feature isn't having your music in the cloud (at least for me) but having my music automatically synced on all devices. Now I can buy a song on my phone and have it automatically appear on my computer and my ipad. That's amazing.

Or, because you have limited space, you keep only certain songs on your iPhone. Suddenly, you have a hankering for that song that didn't make the cut. No big deal, you download it from the cloud.

For example if I match my music and then buy a new CD a week later, can I match my music library again? And then also for each new CD I buy in the future?
I'm thinking of something similar to updating Genius, which I do every time I obtain new music. Will this be possible under the $25 a year for Match?

iCloud is what I really want. MobileMe is so bad it makes me want to through my mac through a window. I have dropbox but I am not going to pay for the extra space AND it doesn't sync my phone data with my Mac.
I like the idea of having my music in the cloud but I don't like the idea of not owning it incase something else happens. I like owning my stuff especially if I am paying for it. I may be a caveman in the respect but it's just something about having the file that makes me feel better, but yes having access when I want that particular album or at a party and want to add more is a huge plus.
Wifi Syncing I have seen working and wow. It is so much faster then the cable. Like light years faster.

The answer to your question is Yes. I have been using iTunes match for a while now as a developer and the match service scans your iTunes library every time you start iTunes. If there are any different songs it "matches" thoses or uploads what is not on the iTunes store.

"Light years" faster, eh? ;-)
Hmm, last I checked, 480 Mbps USB 2.0 was faster than 54 Mbps (or even double-speed 108 Mbps) 802.11n.
Perhaps wireless sync is faster because it is incremental and doesn't do a full backup?

Is 10.4 64bit because 10.5 is saying that it is. I can't remember either way.
