Wow - that could be a major issue: only 1080P and no 720P? It takes about 2.4 times as much data to save one frame of 1080P compared to 720P, if the same compression is used. If you've ever uploaded a 720P movie to You Tube you know what slow process that is: uploading a 1080P movie could be a real bear, to say nothing about how fast you'll eat up your iPhone 4S storage while shooting movies.. 1080P is really not a good consumer format - actually it's not even good for commercial videos going online, primarily because of the large increase in file sizes and data rates. The cable companies get around bandwidth problems by using such high compression rates that what we get from them is fake HD. Most video delivery pipelines have a fixed maximum bandwidth and I'd much rather get more data per pixel with 720P rather than more highly compressed 1080P.
If indeed there is no 720P option on the iPhone 4S, then Apple has completely ignored video delivery in favor of providing an over-hyped selling point of "higher resolution video."

Did you test with using Siri while actually in a running car? My success with the current IOS 4 voice recognition with my car's Bluetooth is pretty poor. I'm sure it is a lower voice quality microphone than the built-in mic, so I'm wondering if Siri will do a better job with the poor mic.
