Of course they will continue current products for all platforms... but read between the lines. They will continue current ones, not make new ones. I can see this going like when they bought Virtual PC... they kept the current version going and it never got but 1 update ever again. In the future all the new grand great features and abilities added to Skype will be Windows only, and Mac and Linux and iPad,etc... will all have to use a few year old versions that cannot do any of the new things.

I used to use Skype. It was o.k. but the Google Voice has cheaper rates (Free in US and Canada, at least until the end of year)

First Zune is... was.
Then Windows Mobile is... but soon it will cease.
Now Skype ....will suffer same fate.

This is regrettable. I was hoping Skype would remain at liberty to continue being its own company for a few more years.
