Does anyone know if there's a way to have a To Do calendar SYNC via iCloud, but NOT sync in the Reminders app itself (i.e., to choose which calendars show up in the Reminders app). I have one Tasks calendar that I want to sync across different Macs, but NOT have alarms go off in the Reminders app....

In Settings->Notifications, disable Reminders's ability to alert you.

Thanks, but question is about disabling a *specific* calendar, not general settings.

I've been trying to subscribe to a few calendars (e.g. US Holidays) but iCloud just nukes them after a few minutes.

Holy cow, I don't know how I missed this.
Might want to add this to the post though. You can also control sharing of reminders from with in iCal for the Mac. Just choose "show reminders" from the view menu, then right click on the reminder list of your choice from the pull down menu. Friggin sweet, thanks for this.
