#3: Far, far simpler and more versatile to drag the document to the desired application icon in the dock. Not only is it a "one-handed" operation, but you are not limited to open applications either.

I enjoyed this article. I never knew application switcher had so many uses. I like the moving text between apps tip the best

I just tried out the Command-Tab and quick release tip to keep Switcher on the screen and to stop it moving but it didn't work. I tried release both keys at different speeds without luck. Also, when I try this towards the end of this page, Switcher don't even appear. Any suggestions what I can try to make it work as explained?

Are there still installers that require you to close all open programs?

Release only the Tab key; keep the Command key pressed.

One thing I noticed is that application switcher will not change to a different "space" to move to that application, unless you are using the option key to open a new window in that app.
