So, if I want to shuffle a playlist from iCloud, can I do that? Do I just select the playlist and hit shuffle like I do with playlists already on my iPhone?

I've been using AudioGalaxy for awhile now. So, how does iTunes Match compare to streaming apps like AudioGalaxy? One obvious difference is that AudioGalaxy requires you to leave your home computer on to stream to your device, but it is also free.

Perhaps someone else can confirm the following issue which I noticed today:

Podcasts don't sync through iCloud, but a change in the 10.5.1 version of iTunes means that playlists that contain any podcasts will no longer sync to your iOS device. The podcasts themselves still sync, but are now only available in the 'Podcasts' section of the iOS music app.

Will iTunes Match work with Snow Leopard? All the info I can find regarding system requirements state a generic "OS X." :/

So I'm confused--I thought Match wasn't a streaming service? But the article seems to indicate that you can stream tracks to your iPhone or iPad without downloading them. Can someone confirm?

Thanks....

Go to the apple forums if you have problems, not here!

iTunes Match is US only at this point. Does anybody know when it's available in Canada?

Seeing that it just came out today and Snow Leopard has been out how long now? It's pretty safe to assume it will

You wrote "After you’ve enabled iTunes Match, any music that you’ve purchased from the iTunes Store is automatically made available to all of your devices, regardless of whether or not it’s currently on your devices." I hope/assume you meant that any music you've purchased, or that matched, or that you uploaded is now available. If its just the stuff you bought from iTunes, I'm pretty sure you could do that yesterday...

From your description about preparing for a trip, I wonder why turning Airplane mode on doesn't disable Show All Music automatically. Are you sure it doesn't?

Also since virtually every article before the launch that described iTunes Match talked about the "piracy forgiveness" angle, I'm wondering what we know now. Seems like there are problems with that. I've looked at the Terms and Conditions and they aren't clear. If you can't prevent Apple from uploading any songs it doesn't find matches for, and Apple doesn't promise it won't let the RIAA do hash matching on all the uploaded songs, are you sure there isn't a hole here where you could be sued after enabling iTunes Match?

When you write that "Apple will start scanning your library," do you mean the library within the iTunes app? I ask because most of the music in my iTunes library is not on my computer but an external drive. But Match will be simply looking at the titles in my iTunes app, right?

What is the minimum version of iOS that is required to utilize iTunes Match?

I was a bit miffed to find out that half my collection of 13,000 tracks needed to be uploaded. All of them were ripped from DVD and all are in 256K AAC. For example Beatles 1 is in the iTunes store, but did not get matched. How does it decide what the track is?
