Love this application. Really well polished and the customer support is awesome too! Highly recommend it.

This app has a lot going for it, particularly its ease of use, quick access, and beautiful design. But the developer seems to be deliberately avoiding the addition of one simple feature: access to the font panel. You can't even change the size of the font, let alone choose a different font. This is simply absurd in an app designed for writing. The promised addition of Markdown support isn't the answer, and it would seem to fly in the face of the app's Jobsian level of simplicity. I bought it not long after it was released, but I stopped using it after about three weeks. The font is too small for my aging eyes.

Does this allow exporting straightaway to wordpress.com blogs?

This is a great way to "Tweet to yourself."
One of my favorite ways to use the app is to record my dreams. I use the dictate function on my iPhone to quickly capture my dreams before I fully awake. Later I clean up the post on the desktop. Makes for interesting reading.

Day One enables me to make an entry on either of my Macs, on my iPad, my iPhone, or my iPod Touch, and have all entries synched among all those devices. It's reliable and does a terrific job. (In response to the person who asked about exporting to Word Press -- at this point I see this as a true journalling tool -- not a blogging tool. The only format currently supported is .TXT.)

Note that as of the current version 1.7 even with the password protection â" the entires are still saved in plain text and can be viewed or even edited by anone which makes the âsecurityâ password feature useless.
