Maybe instead of creating Apple bashing ads, Samsung SHOULD worry about the fact that NOBODY waits in line to get the first of their phones!

Like so many Apple bashing authors and individuals before, this ad tries to point out that Apple users are mindless sheep who will do anything Apple says, without any critical thought. We are in effect, zombies who are only interested in looking cool and carrying something with an Apple logo on it.

Interestingly, I find Apple users to be 180 degrees the opposite of this; very discerning and selective of the things they buy and use. I'm really tired of this type of slur that Samsung has stooped to. No one lines up for days for any of their phones, and this really hurts them, so obviously they need to teach all those people who DO line up for Apple that they're deluded nitwits. Doesn't really make me want to switch, Samsung.

I guess Samsung isn't worried that anyone will ever wait in line for their products.

Because I am Apple user since 1988 does not make me stupid but wealthy due to many, many things Apple hardware offers with Swiss precision ! Would I stay in line up for their product ? If this product will complete me in line of my work then anytime ! Samsung in NOT on the blog for me and it falls in to sci-fi if ever possibly will be ...

Interestingly, Samsung touts the physical size of their screen, but what are the actual pixel dimensions? I couldn't find the actual specs on their web site. The iPhone 4S is 960x640 @ 326 ppi. This is kind of like the argument when laptops would say, "We've got a 17" screen compared to Apple's 15."" But when your max res is 1024x768 spread across 17" and Apple's is 1280x1024, kind of makes physical size a moot point.

I must admit that when I spotted the title of this article, I quickly clicked on it in hopes of reading about the deeper significance of those Samsung ads. And while I do appreciate the Bogus vs. Legitimate comparisons, this article still overlooks that key issue.

Simply put, recent Samsung ads are yet another rip-off of Apple:

Not an exact rip-off of course, but instead a rip-off of the underlying theme. Ironically though, the theme of Lemmings is what led it to become one of Apple's most unsuccessful commercials because it was viewed as bashing the very people it hoped to make new customers. In like manner, recent Samsung ads mock the people lined up to get their Apple products. The Samsung ads basically say, "if you are in this line, you are stupid, but if you buy Samsung, you are smart." It's the notorious Lemmings commercial all over again.

I miss my galaxy s2. Getting the ip4s was the worst idea ever. My battery sucks, my ape force close constantly, I still have a freaking yellow tint on my screen which is embarrasing and the worst part is having to deal with apples customer service reps who act like their all knowing apple gods. Its so irritating but I'm stuck on contract plus I dished out $107 for the apple care. You can claim the iPhone is the best but you're just justifying your own biased opinions. I have experienced otherwise.

How Samsung, why not have an ad that displays all your alleged pros instead of name dropping a spec checklist.

my "ape" never force closes. If you dished out for apple care, they would have replaced your phone if it was tinted. I have a 4S and I don't have a battery issue after the update. The galaxy can't be that good if you dropped it for another phone.

Isn't your opinion biased too?

Copy-pasting competitors' design and blame it on "no other way to design a smartphone/tablet besides like Apple's" is one thing. But making its revision that looks exactly like HTC phone, just proves that Samsung is nothing more than a classless plagiarist.

Telling lies by false advertising own products is another.

Now that there are plenty of Android hardware, I hope that Android users are righteous enough to buy Non-Samsung Android devices only and all Android manufacturers to avoid buying parts from Samsung.

Ok, I have finally figured it all out! I have been in the tech business and audio video for many years. I read the picking part of this Samsung ad. I'm amused and amazed. Like many of you, I have after many years become taken with SOME of what Apple has brought to market. I had the first two iPhones and lived through the growing pains and problems of those. What drove me away in the end (Before the iPhone 4) was AT&T and apple yes apple teaming to charge almost $200 per month for unlimited everything service. (This was in 2009) What kills me today is the DEFENDING of Apple "Decisions" to add or not add a feature based on performance, or something being "half baked" (Apple supposedly will add it when its 100% etc. claims) Then I here about Apple kept the 3.5" screen size on the latest model because it will "fit better in the hand" another favorite "4G will come when all the carriers have it" Other features available FREE on android like turn by turn voice GPS are not mentioned much by Apple owners. As for the only BIG thing Apple ever promoted on the new 4S was Siri - You still talking to it after three weeks? Android had speech to text and email along with search over a year ago! Where am I going with this? OK, I switched from Sony's lightest computers to the Macbook air 13" 2011 because it was the best smallest coolest computer I could get and it was expensive but I love it. once I owned the Air, I HAD to wait to get a new phone because I was shaking salivating to buy what was to all us believers the new IPHONE 5 in October. i wanted the 4" screen, the 4G, the mobile HotSpot everyone thought it would have (Plus we use for work, so HotSpot was a MUST have for me) Than, what we got was a rehash of the same phone only now I could ask it if I loved it! My point, everyone devoted, and I mean rabidly devoted to Apple is now defending all that WASN"T because Apple believed certain technologies or screen sizes were not right for their client base!! You think you have a 3.5" screen because of how it fits in your hand? What will happen to that excuse come June when the iPhone 5 comes out with a 4" screen? The simple truth boys and girls is that Apple is making boat loads more profit taking advantage of a "koolaid drinking" mentality I have not seen in a while. Where did I last see this "Best in the world" mentality bestowed on technological junk before? Simple, ask anyone you know who makes the best speakers you can buy! Anyone on the street! They will tell you - BOSE! Boxes of paper and plastic selling for hundreds and even thousands of dollars. Plus, just like Apple Bose has maintained STRICT PRICE FIXING POLICIES with all of their vendors over the years. Do you have any idea how much more money Apple made re-booting that same phone with a couple of new chips? The press it got? I take my hat off to them. Apple has taken the Bose model to new heights. They have you rationalizing buying last years screen size and features. Yes I need a Hotspot I travel a lot. yes, the voice guided GPS pn my Samsung Charge is a blessing. Yes, both the hotspot and the phones browser are as fast as my home cable Internet. Yes,I can really appreciate the much larger screen. yes its lighter and thiner and very easy to hold. Yes If i drop it the cheap (light) plastic back won't shatter into a million pieces. Yes, I was crushed that my Apple Koolaid did not have all those features on a phone I could buy this year - Darn it! See you in June!
