Thanks for this review of all this product's attributes.
I am still unclear as to whether it works in iPhoto or Aperture 3 as a plug-in?
Also, if I buy it can I use it for more than one computer, say, my iMac and my MBA both of which are OS 10.6.8. ?
I feel funny asking this about a $9.99 sale price item. It's just that too many articles don't say whether an app can be used more than once or saved and re-used through Apple Migration or SuperDuper for example.

From their site (and yes could have been visited by the author as a bit of investigation)

Snapheal is your ultimate app to get rid of skin imperfections. You can Import photos from your Aperture or iPhoto albums, quickly fix them and send back to iPhoto. Plus you can share your creations via popular social networks - Facebook, Tumbrl, Twitter, Flickr and more.

Thanks. I visited the Macworld article Specifications section and gave up when I got no additional info. I'll go to the manufacturer's site like you did next time.

The "Retouch" capability in iPhoto can do the same thing (remove unwanted objects). Most people think of that tool to remove small dots or skin blemishes. But it can also remove larger objects, and fill in the space with the pattern of the surrounding object. And most of us already have that tool.

i disagree... it removed the object, sure, but look closely @ the area the object was in... it did a sloppy job on the corners of the desks... you can see where it's cut and uneven now...
u can do this in adobe, with healing, or these was another app that i thought did a better job...

I was interested in this as a result of MacWorld's review so followed the link and learned it is a steal at $5.99 as a Christmas special.

I have been experimenting with Inpaint but this looks to be superior.
