I admit, I've never attended a Mac Show before, but I expected it to be bigger, more sophisticated than as portrayed in the slide show. I was a wee bit disappointed.

I wish this magazine would serve its readership better by reporting on the reduced attendance at this show.

rather useless and uninformative slides, you could do much better. Your customers/viewers are interested in seeing and reading about the technology, not a bunch of attendees.

The $68,000 speakers look like something bought at a flea market. How about some coverage on products most people would want in their homes? Were there any exceptional displays that could included in the slide show?

Perhaps you might enjoy the 30 or so other articles, half-a-dozen podcasts, and four videos we've also published on our website about Macworld | iWorld.

We'd love to oblige, but as it turns out, attendance was about the same as it was last year. And we prefer our stories to be based on "facts" as opposed to "things Moeskido has decided are true."

Here's the story on attendance:

Cue the "Ha, like you can trust IDG's numbers" response, which is so popular among those whose preconceptions didn't align with reality.

The Mac world has changed a bit since 1984, and this show reflects that change. Macworld has changed along with it. Some will like this direction, some will not. I feel Macworld, the publication, is at the top of its game. Kudos to the many top notch contributors and the superb editing.
