I got a 15 inch macbook pro for Christmas and my friend suggested that I make a partition so that I can have access to more games through steam. I thought about it and decided to do it. I loaded up bootcamp and followed the instructions to install windows 7 and it was working great. It finished installation and I loaded into windows no problem. I then ran into the issue of not being able to connect to the internet, no sound, no drivers, etc. I did a bit of research and found that I needed the OSX disc to finish the installation. I burned my own (legally) by following instructions I found online, went back into windows and popped the disc in. The disc drive recognizes that there is a disc in there and starts up. After a couple of seconds nothing happens. I tried going into my computer to see if I could manually load the .exe file I needed to run, but it says that there is nothing on the disc. I don't know if I did something wrong when burning the disc or what, but I was wondering if anyone here could help me?

The Windows support software is a very important step otherwise you will have alot of stuff not work.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I have it working how it should be, I just needed to use bootcamp to create the disc with all the important stuff on it. Strangely enough I did not need to use the osx disc for the drivers, or do I still need to do that?
