While this is good information, honestly, and without intending offense, I could listen to Serenity Caldwell read a menu from Burger King and still be interested. Heck, for that matter, she could recite the alphabet and I'd think it was the coolest thing in the world.

Great tip! Very useful! As I have a vast number of bookmarks in Safari and don't really want them on my iPhone, it would be nice if Apple would offer to sync the Reading list but not all bookmarks.

There's that "matter of perspective" thing again: I have a vast number of bookmarks in Safari too... and I love the fact that they're synced to my iPhone! After all, it's not like they take up much space, (a few hundred kilobytes would be a huge collection of bookmarks -- but that would still be only a minor blip to the iPhone's multi-gigabyte storage!) and while I may only use a small set of them on a routine basis, it's convenient to not have to wonder to myself, "Did I bookmark that on my phone, or on my Mac?" Just do a word search, and if I've bookmarked it, it's there!
That said, it looks like I will indeed have to check out the Reading List feature. As satisfied as I am with what I already know about my iPhone, it sounds like maybe I'm still not taking full advantage of some very "core" features. But hey; you know the old adage... learn something new every day, and all that.

For those without iCloud on their Mac, I've found the SendTab extension performs this same task with aplomb.
