I expect users on 10.7 will likely see the same sort of support as users on 10.6 and previous OSes--that is, fixes for crucial security issues and major bugs, but no new features.

This was on Apple's list of "neat random new things in Mountain Lion," but I haven't been able to figure out by snooping around just yet. Preview in Lion lets you fill out any PDF intelligently marked as a form (IE, if you download a version of your W4, you can automatically type in those fields), but I'm not sure if Mountain Lion augments this in any way. Looking into it.

I would be more inclined to say "there *are* bound to be lots of questions," but perhaps that's just me.

And I would likely write around the problem, as in "...lots of questions are bound to arise (or perhaps "be asked")." Just me.

I think you're grammatically correct as the article pluralizes with "questions" meaning that "are" is probably the correct way to write the sentence.

Same as Lion, I believe. (So yes.)

You can go directly from Snow Leopard, but you must be running the latest version--OS X 10.6.8.
