Ever since I downloaded iOS 5, my iPad has been crashing a lot when using Safari. Is this a common problem? is there anything I can do to stop it?

Quite frustrating with all the crashes.

I have the same problem, and judging by the Apple Discussion threads it is quite wide-spread. Here is one thread: https://discussions....tart=0&tstart=0

After reading some 40 pages, I cannot find either a sure cure, or a clear acknowledgement from Apple that there is a problem.

My iPad 1 is becoming unusable... I think that the more people who register and log in to the Apple threads, the more likely we can pressure Apple to come up with a fix.
