Interesting valuation. The iPad name wasn't worth $400 million a year before the iPad came out. Maybe the transaction would be worth that much now, but it didn't take place now, it took place in 2009.
So if I unload a vintage Karmann Ghia as a basket case for $500, and the next owner restores it gleaming perfection and subsequently sells it for $25,000, can I claim he deceived me and demand more money?

A decision against Apple has the potential to cost China a whole lot more than what Proview might recover. What company in its right mind would want to do business there?

Apple - just change the name of the iPad in Communist China to the "Apple Pad" and be done with it - sue Proview for defamation and put them out of their misery - once and for all.
