iOS 5.1 is now out. Comes in at 177 mb. I'm d/l it now.

And iOS 5.1 is installing on my iPhone right now.

Now I get Siri on Japanese - but I have to learn it first... :-)

imagine how cool it would be to have an iPad version of iWeb...or some such new cool app to design and publish websites

iWork suite doesn't sync with iPad1.

Yeah I find that the desktop experience is really degrading. One side is apple and their "iOS-ification" and no updating their iwork/ilife and other apps. The other side is with windows 8 and the whole UI issue. Long live snow leopard/windows 7.

Apple's "Feast or Famine" approach to update continues! For the iOS, it's feast time and for OS X, it's still the long famine. I really wish Apple would take a more staggered approach to offering updates or upgrades, instead of the "All about the event" mentality.

As for iWork on the (new) iPad, I couldn't care less if the graphics now have Retina-quality. It should be about workflow and productivity, not how pretty the bloody app looks!
