Hi,
I've been trying to remedy this problem myself for days - with no luck.
I downloaded itunes onto my windows 7 pc - and when I try to start itunes, it says 'itunes was not properly installed. If you wish to import or burn cds you will need to reinstall itunes.' When I try to burn a playlist to a cd, it says 'no recording software found'. I can burn music from other players, like windows media player, therefore I know my cd driver is working ok.
I have tried uninstalling itunes and all related components (quicktime, bonjour, etc) all in the relevant order - and reinstalling with no luck. I've tried several times.
I have also tried deleting my lower and upper filters - no luck.
I have tried downloading the 'gear software' - no luck.
Any help on this matter would be SO appreciated.
