I just got an email from Intuit that leads me to believe Quicken 2004 will not run on Lion—I was just about to upgrade from Snow Leopard. To make matters worse, they tell me I cannot move my data from Q 2004 to the new version of Quicken that does run on Lion. I can only transport my data from Quicken 2005 and later which are no longer available legitimately. This leads me to believe that I will need to get my hands on a pirated copy of one of the intermediate versions.

Does anyone have any info on this? If all of my assumptions are correct, does anyone have a bootleg copy of Quicken 2005, -06 or -07 they'd like to sell? I never thought I'd be put in this position.

Ever since Intuit went from a Mac-only company to a primarily PC-oriented one, they've been a real pile of crap to work with.
