Wish this would have happened with my iPad. It's been sitting with no movement in Louisville, KY since the 10th!!!

Will Apple TV 3 units be available for purchase/pickup at Apple Store retail locations tomorrow (Friday)?

Yes, but I don't think you could pick a worse day to go given the iPad 3 lines you'll see.

As long as he is not buying the new iPad itself, he should be able to cut through the line. This is pretty much what happens with these launches.

what's really frustrating is having it (thanks FedEx fairies!) but not being able to do anything with it because of work deadlines!!! (argh)

Arrived home from work to a FedEx door tag "11:35 am" so missed our AppleTV delivery . . . just went online to ask for the new "HOLD at FedEx Office (formerly Kinko's) location. This is amazing; so I could pickup downtown closer to home tomorrow after work (also our new iPad!), rather than the old drive to the warehouse 30min away. Might I say, "FedEx-cellent!"

(follow up ...) OK YES, it worked! Was able indeed to pickup shipments downtown after work. Actually, needed to come home for a power nap and then run errands; picked up later after dinner. Totally awesome they're open later on weekdays, until like 11pm if needed. I should order launch day iPads more often!
