Help
Just upgraded to iOS 5.1 on an iPhone 4, (AT&T). Now myPhone is exhibiting odd behavior when used as a phone - when I bring the phone away from my ear, the phone control screen appears briefly, then disappears. Clicking the home button will make the screen reappear briefly, but then it disappears again; multiple clicks of the home button take me to the iPhone home screens.
I've restored thePhone as a new device, and that didn't make a difference. Anybody else having this issue, and what was done to resolve? thanks

Well, I think it was my phone, not the OS. Upon reflection, it took a hard drop to the cement and I wonder if that might have affected something. It seems to have fixed itself, so it's no longer an issue.

This symptom (screen disappears when bring the phone away from the ear) is still happening on my iPhone4S. Just loaded 5.1.1 - still happening. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem. I don't think dropping in the cement is a safe way to try to fix this.
