A couple years ago I tried the Sony "Webbie" and it was the most miserable tech product I've ever used. Low-light video was unusable. Indoor video with good lighting was grainy. Only outdoor video in bright sunlight was impressive.

I returned it after three days and was charged the 15% "restocking fee" even though I brought it back to the same Sony store from which I bought it in the original packaging. Be very skeptical about Sony products. Find out all you can before you buy because your purchase is practically non-refundable.

Really? a review of a camcorder without any sample photos or videos?

Nicely written article. I believe I know all I need to know about this product as to whether I'd be interested in purchasing it or not. Kudos!

Initially I agreed with this complaint. Then I recalled something I was told some years ago by a professional photographer- Your photos or videos can only be degraded by whatever viewing media is being used- newsprint, television, computer, etc. It's no secret that until recently movies at the cinema always looked remarkably better than on TV. Now the difference may not be quite so noticeable with HD, etc but it is still there I believe. So the point here, should photos, video be included in this article they could look like crap on some phones, tablets, or monitors doing the product an injustice. The author wrote a lengthy review, quite well IMO, telling me all I want to know about this product. Sadly you did not mention reading anything of importance in the review.
