I own and use a Kindle Touch. After spending hours of the day viewing a backlit computer monitor, the last thing I want to do is stare at the smaller equivalent for my recreational reading materials. E ink is easy on the eyes, so I'm glad that I didn't get the Kindle Fire. The Touch is heavier than the plastic housed Kindles. The 3G feature is great, but don't expect to get internet access with this network, you have to use the wifi option for the experimental browser that comes with it. BTW in reference to something mentioned in the article, the wireless networking is what accelerates the drain on the battery more than anything else, but is easily turned off or on. Without it you get a weeks worth of constant use. It also has an MP3 player built in. I just wish it had a memory expansion slot...
