Australian businesses/schools and Mac OS X...

hey all, i'm considering becoming a system admin, or at least, in some way, become involved in the Apple community. i'm currently trying coding iOS apps and i was wondering if there were many positions administrating OS X environments in business. i'm aware schools have a strong market share of OS X machines, but i'm unaware on specific figures. could anyone give me a good idea?
