This is one of the last forums I use that when you quote someone, their ENTIRE post is put in the quote block - including the stuff they quoted.

There are quite a few people who out of either laziness or spite seem quite happy to hit quote and then just start typing away - no matter if there are three pages of quotes within quotes above where they are typing.

Can we at least have the embedded quotes count against the overall number of quotes? When I'm trying to use quoting as it should be on more than a few occasions I get a warning that there are too many quotes (which is annoying in it's own right and a separate topic of discussion) - but when someone dumps three screenfuls of a reply that's meaningless and far beyond the concept of "quoting" in a reply that's fine?

I'm fairly certain they do. I've had to purge older replies out of nest of quotes in order to get past that block.
