Even though I have Dashboard shortcuts turned off in both Mission Control and in Keyboard Shortcuts > Mission Control, and I have set F4 to be All Windows, pressing F4 on my keyboard still brings up the Dashboard. Is there anywhere else I can go to turn off Dashboard?
Thanks

I don't know about turning dashboard completely off...

But I know you can remove the keyboard shortcut by going to system preference, mission control, and at the bottom left drop-down just change the listed F-key to the "-", meaning nothing at all.

Also, you can take the "space" for dashboard away completely by unchecking the box at the top marked "show dashboard as a space." That will effectively get rid of dashboard for you.

I personally preferred the old way of overlaying the dashboard over the current view, so I have the box un-checked and a mouse hot-spot assigned to show the dashboard over what I'm doing. This makes it easy for me to get to the address book quickly, as well as use the calculator with numbers that are already onscreen. But if you don't have a mouse corner nor hotkey assigned, your dashboard will just be gone.

Hope this helps.

with either the Program ONYX or the Pref Pane SECRETS, not sure which, you can actually disable DASHBOARD
so it "doenst exist", and the buttons will no longer take you there.
