Can't download in iTunes 10.6.1

Ever since I upgraded to iTunes 10.6.1 downloading podcasts/TV shows from the iTunes store is close to impossible. I have seen the following errors:

3259
9006

All other internet aspects (email, web browsing, YouTube, etc) work fine. Only downloading from iTunes store is giving me problems.

OS 10.7.3
iTunes 10.6.1 (7)
MacBookPro

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
