We use Google Apps and gmail, and I will say that it has been the most reliable experience for email I have ever had... much more reliable than iCloud, or MobileMe.

Nothing is perfect... I can barely remember outages with gmail, whereas to this day I am still getting "iCloud username/password not correct" errors on p03-imap.mail.me.com...

If an hour of downtime every year or two is what it takes, I'm fine with it... iCloud.. its CONSTANTLY having problems.

[censored] is crap, actually. Don't use a free emailer when so many good, ad-free and SPYWARE-FREE IMAP ones come at such a low cost.

A serious business will never use any Google Apps, or any free cloud-based apps, or any free emailer.
MacBook Pro 8,1, 16GB, 500GB
Mac OS X 10.6.8 as main OS (Thanks, trusty old BlackBook!), 10.7.3 for playing around.
Politely tell Apple what they did wrong with Mountain Lion: give them feedback!
