If the iPad hasn't gone on sale in China yet, why would there be fines (for Chinese copyright violation)?

I believe it is the newest version of the iPad that they haven't released yet. The older versions have been on sale.

Proview NEVER contended that "no such sale was made." They said that the rights to the name in China were not part of the sale to Apple by the Taiwan Proview div.

Um...Didn't they (Apple) ask for a receipt when they "bought" the trademark?
