"Send to Kindle's installation is mostly straightforward, although a bit buggy: when presented with only an "Install for all users" option by the installer, the choice appeared to be pre-selected in the install window, but I still had to click on it again to proceed with the install."

thats a bug in Apple's Installer... can reproduce it easily, and its nothing to do with Kindle, happens on many installers that use this type of package, including stuff I've made myself.

I tried to install this on my 2010 iMac 10.6.8 fully patched and it failed miserably. The installer froze right near the end. After 15 minutes I did a force quit. I tried using the uninstaller but it froze at the 50% mark. I trashed the apps from the application folder and now I can not empty my trash. After a restart, I still can not empty my trash.

I tried it with 10.7.3, installed & worked as promised. Tested it on my highly formatted resume from Word '11, it was super easy to select Print to Kindle instead of a printer. Had the option to choose iPhone and iPad (probably could have sent it to my 2nd gen Kindle, but why, er, where is it?). Chose both, and it was there in seconds over WiFi, correctly formatted. Like any other non-Kindle document, you can't change the font size, but you can zoom in and out. Don't need this today but it could be quite practical for some folks.
