Apple's HDMI video/audio-out cable provides a pass-through Dock connector, so you could use this keyboard with it.

Unfortunately, the Digital AV Adapter's pass-through dock-connector port doesn't provide power, so the iKey30 doesn't work with it. I'll update the article to clarify.

NOT on the flights Iâve been on in the past ten years. There isnât a stewardess alive who would know the difference between an iPad in Airplane mode.

That's a huge connector - no wonder most are Bluetooth

Ahem. It's a dock-connector cable that's 33 inches long.
Considering you're the third person to read it differently, I've moved "33-inch" to a different location in the article
