Does SonicMax Pro or any other app compress the dynamic range for background listening or for noisy environments?

MyTunes Pro will do this. There are probably others that do it as well, but that's the only one I know off the top of my head.

Do any of these apps make it possible to increase the volume of an iOS device? The maximum volume on my iPhone isn't loud enough if there is even moderate background noise.

I'd like to avoid jail-breaking my iPhone in order to be able to boost the volume. And I really don't want to spend the $$$ on noise-isolating earbuds...

Come on really... what about real audio programs like Portaplayer, FlacPlayer and others that can output real audio sample rates to 24/192???
