Asking the iTunes Guy

I have a question and "Ask the iTunes Guy" seems to be a misnomer, not open to questions?
Question:
On my iMac (The iPad's mother ship) in the iTunes main window with Devices/<name>iPad 2 selected, from the top menu I select and click on the Apps tab.
In the drop down below "Sync Apps" it defaults to "Sort by Kind".
I would prefer that the default be "Sort by Name".
To me this is the obvious first choice.
At least iTune could be set to remember what you choose.
Has anyone hacked that yet?

Try using VLC media player. It does everything iTunes does, but better. I like it so much, I've deleted iTunes from all three of my Macs and both WIndows systems.
