I hope they don't repeat the same crap as they did with StarCraft, i.e. instead of one Battlenet account per user account, it was one Battlenet account per computer. Greedy little suckers.

What are you talking about? I play Starcraft 2 on 3 different computers all with my single Battle.net account. My account is authorized for Diablo 3, Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft....I frequently login with the same account on each computer.

Sigh - I caved. The pre-release is downloading now. Good thing I activated my Squid proxy last week and have it tuned to cache large downloads - I'm hoping it will speed up loading on my other machines!

*Diablo III in a nutshell*: click on things until they die! Collect junk! Synthesize even more junk! Find Diablo and/or his buddies (hint: keep moving forward down this path!) Take ibuprofen to stave off impending RSI !
*What you need to know*: buy the game and it will waste the next week (or more) of your life!
But cheers to Blizzard for making it work on my vintage MacBook Pro! And of course for being one of the few cross-platform games that supports the Mac on day 1! So, I think they get my money! B)

It took Blizzard almost 6 years to develop this game. It will never be sold for $20.00

That isn't correct, your battlenet ID is tied to you as a user, not your computer. In fact, you can now legally install new Blizzard games (E.G. SC2, WoW and Diable 3) on as many computers as you jolly well feel like. Essentially, they work simply as clients.

What you were probably thinking of is their limiting users to a single SC2 battlnet account. I'm actually very happy about this, since the way it was in SC1, there was no good way to determine a player's rating. The new method allows for proper match making and generally makes the experience significantly better.
