Well, there goes the mobility aspect of laptop computers. If you have to carry a whole bag of gear around with it, it's no longer mobile--merely portable.

I've had trouble finding a laptop bag I like for precisely this reason. I have a BBP Hamptons Hybrid and I like it well enough, but I want something more minimal. I never use the large compartment--which is much bigger than the one for the laptop itself--and wish they had something similar but more compact. if a laptop is supposed to be easily portable, I want the bag I carry it it to be so also.
