I am merely a web page novice, but would like to know what you call something. When I click on an visual element, such as a logo or the border of a field, the corresponding HTML/Javascript is high-lighted. What do you call this feature? Very handy. It is in Dreamweaver, but I haven't seen it elsewhere, such as in Coda.

I'm curious if their code completion will extend to your entire project or if it will only be for the current file. I'd also love to see inline syntax checking for PHP.

Unfortunately, function and variable autocompletion is limited to the scope of the current document you're working in. I've got a fairly lengthy writeup of Coda 2 if you're interested.

According from Cabel we will see project wide autocomplete in the version future =) It's great to see them making it a priority but document scope will be a blessing for CSS and JavaScript.
"This is sort of "1.0" of our smartcomplete. We had a project indexer in the works but weren't happy with the quality. So this will be a definitely priority in future point releases."
