We have had our Sony Bravia KDL46EX-523 since my Lovely Wife Battled the Crouds at the "Black Friday Sales", in November~ The Day After Thanksgiving! {She Got Ours For ~$800} *This is a SONY BRAVIA3 Engine Powered WI-FI TRUE HDTV! Nuff' Said! Well It's True! Them Egg Head Engineer Types will always find something to complain about, like 3D, Me; If I Want to wear some funny looking, expensive glasses and get a Migraine Headache, I go put on some Welding Torch Green Glasses and do some welding, iron cutting, and banging with a 25 lb. Sledge Hammer for a couple of hours! Now, If I Want to see a good Movie on Blu Ray @ 1080p, Then I Watch this Sony Bravia 46", Hourse! This TV, Looks Good, & Looks Good to Look at, and it's got all the bells & whistles you could ever want! It also got a Feature I Like; I call it "The Idiot Proof Remote Control Operator"! If the Moron Operating the Remote, gets up & leaves the room without turning the TV off, it continues for 5 mins. If it don't see nobody watching it, Bye Bye, it turns it self to sleep! As soon as someone walks in the room, it turns it self back on. Very Nice TV All Around, Picture, Sound, ( I have mine hooked to a true 5.1 Surround System W/ a Powered 12" Sub Woofer, & when them children of ours play them war games, I gotta go outside~It Sounds too real for me!). This TV has So many HDMI & other Hook ups, We Have everything from it acting like the wireless screen to my MacBook Pro, to Video calls to Memaw & Pepaw through Skype, to browsing the Internet, to DVD/CD Recoder, to Sony Playstation 3, to USB, & SD Card Slots. So if you had time to make a Slide Show w/ The Pictures & Video you shot at the family reunion, put it on a USB Flash Drive and Pop it in and Watch & Enjoy! If you didn't have time to edit them, just take the SD Card out the camera, & plug it in and Watch, Uncle Billy Drink a Whole Bottle of Whiskey, & Laugh & Joke and Dance, & at the End He's Passed Out, Rolling around in the bed of Jr's. Truck! LOL ! Now that's a good picture, for them egg head engineers to watch on a Sony Bravia3 46" !
Also, Because we have it as a device on our home WI~FI Network, I can Access the DVR remotely & Record my Favorite Show from my iPhone; I just can't miss a week of Them Swamp People, Chut Em, Troy Say! Lol.
In conclusion; We Love Our Sony HDL-46EX523, & it's a Sony, It's gonna Last a Long Time.
