What I'd like to know is how long Yahoo will run with this until they let it languish and die, like so many of their other projects...

They're still working on it, too. I clicked through for the Safari extension to read the Terms of Service, and was greeted by:

"Yahoo! Axis Software License and Service Terms
Terms will go here."

Okay...

seriously? the company that to this day can't tell that vI@Gr@ is spam? the company that allows never ending spam through it's instant messenger? and i'm supposed to start using it because... it's now powered by bing?

This might be a useful tool but in my opinion it's a case of too little too late. A company that no longer provides telephone support to its customers isn't long for this world.
