I guess you have forgotten about that very useful App, "Photo Transfer App" $2.99 for IOS device & free for your Mac. Transfers are made via wireless network.

On any story: it would be SO VERY helpful if you would say outright what OS it applies to. I'm tired of reading something, trying it, and then finding out it only works in Lion. Tired and irritated.

Same thing happens for me too - the list of image files appears for an instant, then disappears.
