Several people I know have had to exchange these keyboards for various reasons. Perhaps now that it's been around for a while it will be better, but I wouldn't buy one of them. The idea is great, but the quality isn't there.

First, the original version uses Logitech's proprietary wireless technology. This requires a USB-dongle, occupying one of the scarce USB ports on my iMac (and actually, the Dongle is so huge, it blocks the neighbors to an extend, although, they included an extender, which doesn't really help). All Macs come equipped with Bluetooth, so this wouldn't really be necessary. It seems this version finally fixes that!
Second, the Logitech keyboard isn't as well crafted as Apple's version. It's thin and bends easily, the plastic casing seems cheap. From the pictures, the new version looks like the old. So, if you like solid quality keyboard (especially on the road with an iPad), I would still go with the Apple keyboard, the batteries won't need recharging for weeks.

And I've been using the K750 for Mac for months without any problems, so it's clearly not a universal problem.

What do you call that on the round end?

Sorry, I phrased that poorly. What I meant was a hardware switch with a physical "Off" position, rather than a software toggle that's too easy to accidentally press and turn on the keyboard

Yes, but I know two other people who had to exchange theirs. Out of my small sample, that's a pretty high percentage.

I'm confused. Logitech's been shipping their tiny little Unifying USB receiver for years now. It only protrudes from the USB port by a few millimeters and isn't wide enough to block neighboring ports. Unless you have a knockoff, you should have received the receiver in the image below with your K750, as I did with mine.
