i Cal Syncing from iMac to iPad and iPhone

is there anyone who can help me sync my iCal with my iMac with my Apple mobile devices? This is the only tool that I'm unable to sync.

What OS version on your iMac? What OS version(s) on your mobile devices? Are you trying to sync via iTunes when your devices are directly connected to your Mac, or indirectly through iCloud, MobileMe or something else?

I'm using Mac OS 10.7.4 and iOS version 5.1.1. Everything I do is through the iCloud. Everything used to sync with no problem, but now I've gotten tired of having to type things twice. My iPad and iPhone sync properly and with no problem, the only application that is not syncing is the iCal. When I type either on the iMac or either of my mobile devices they just don't sync. If you have any suggestions, I'd be grateful.
