I have an abundance of photos on my iphone (old & new), ipad, laptop, and desktop computers. Some of these photos I've taken, some are sent to me via instant messaging, etc. My iphone has a lots of images that my computers or ipad don't have and visa-versa. Is there a way to organize all the photos so everything is in one place?
Thanks in advance,
Marcia

I have the same problem. I am trying to sort it out using Lightroom but don't really think I am winning. Hope someone with an organized mind can give us a simple solution.

Editing software has various ways to categorize pix - check the documentation for your editing program such as iPhoto, Photoshop, Lightroom, Elements, Aperture. You can create multiple categories, keywords, faces, ratings, etc. to each picture. This is a large job if you have a lot of pictures. While you are at it, like most of us, there are pictures worth dumping - so trash as you go and the job will be easier.
A good approach might be to start with the new pictures, then go back to earlier ones to identify, trash, and rate. Perhaps commit to do so many per day as a goal.
