Then again, Tim's comment could be the kiss of death. I was recalling two of Steve Jobs' comments about other companies:
1) "We've been doing a lot of work with these people recently."
2) "It's a good company with great products."
The first comment was about Palm. The second was about RIM.

I've love to see Facebook Events -> Calendar syncing, too.

"Anyone with iPhone or iPad wants to have the best experience with Facebook on any device, ...."

Honestly: Not a priority for me.

Why would Apple want anything to do with a company which has an unknown number of real users (the oft quoted 900m claim has yet to be independently verified), falling revenues and a business model based on the theft and sale of private information?

Let's hope Tim Cook is just talking up the stock - AAPL, not FB, that is. Apple has done a fine job of safeguarding users' data and for this user that is a significant reason to choose its products. Any liason with Facebook cannot possibly grow confidence that this state of afairs will continue.

I like a separation between my Facebook and Apple devices. Facebook isn't secure, and since I can upload things from iPhone -> Mac, I don't need the integration.

Would much rather see Twitter and G+ integration, unless FB itself would not be visible. I don't want to see that cluster of a UI mucking up my OS X or iOS experience. You're talking about the difference between the best UI developers in the world (Apple) and the worst (Facebook).
Basking in the glow of iPad Retina goodness.

Want to sell me a new Mac, maybe an iPhone or iPad? Offer a tool to block facebook from collecting any data on me.

Yeeeech. No thank you very much. Tighter integration with a technology that exists only to mine my information and shove targeted ads in my face? I don't think so.

Integration? I don't see the need. I just compleated my vacation and with my iPhone and the FB App was able to easily keep my peeps up to date with photos and all on the fly. What more would FB integration do for me that the App can't?

I think you meant "quite" not quiet in the fourth paragraph from the bottom.

Both would be a good option... although I have to admit that I have yet to use the Twitter integration on my iPad, I just go to Tweetbot...

I like the Twitter integration but I don't care about a Facebook integration. I don't want Facebook to access and steal information from my iPhone. That's also why I don't use any Facebook app.

I wouldn't touch Facebook with a ten-foot cattle prod, and I don't understand those who would.

It is used to gain as much information as it can, and then sell it: to advertisers, employers, creditors, governments, ad nauseum.

Integrating it into any Apple device will key my exit from Apple's technologies.

I couldn't agree more with that last comment! The number 2 complaint I hear about Facebook (after security) is "why did they change it again?!?"

I'm already annoyed at how many websites have integrated Facebook into their comment sections. (USA Today especially!) I'm on Facebook for one reason - to keep in touch with family. I'm very irritated when a website shows me my facebook profile pic in the comment section and I didn't even log into their site!

More integration with Facebook? How about giving me less!!!
